raveller: To exist or not exist - that is the question. But why choose? Is it not the between what is and what could be the very verisimilitude of living? Paradox enshrined in intricate incarnates? Perhaps, but hopes endure. Hope also, that you'll answer in art. ~R

Pretty words , unfortunately I don’t have time to answer in art; my academic life is in the way. So instead here is a doodle I did on an old business assignment.

Round Robins (and Peacocks) - Tricia Flohr
Round robin was a silly character that I doodled some time ago while at a party. Some one suggested a round-robin air hockey tournament and instead of explaining properly what a round-robin-tournament was to a friend who wasn’t sure what it meant… I drew a lot of round birds. This is potentially going to become part of the album art for my friends’ band ep.

Mistakes happen, collage - Tricia Flohr

This collage uses recycled dried acrylic paint, black enamel, reclaimed vivek & acrylic plastic pieces and black marker.
I collect left over dry paint from my other art projects to use in these types of collages. The plastic pieces are parts of failed or broken plastic projects from SID. Either the plastic was left in the oven too long, or the mold did not create the form desired. Normally these would get thrown out; I found them and now have a large bag of bubbled and twisty plastic bits.

(It’s a very narrow and tall piece, the third image in this set has been cut off, click it to see the full image. )

Grape Girl (Red Wine) - Tricia Flohr
Just a quick doodle, About 1 hour. Pen and Markers.
I haven’t quite decided on a name for this creature with a grape tree for hair.

One of my favorite places to draw and create new ideas is on my bed, next to my inspiration wall full of various photos, magazine clippings and masks. I also have trinkets hanging from the ceiling but you can’t really see them here. I prefer to out doors for doodling, but on rainy days this space will suffice. I don’t really have a bedroom so much as a studio.
